Madison Grace is lovely I am soo in love with her, Joe is a bit miffed but think we are winning him round - slowly.
We went to Devon for easter, saw the midwife the day before and she said you are fine to go can't see anything going on as my twinges all stopped, dh said we will take hospital bag and baby bits just to be on the safe side. Any way had a fab easter Joe had loads of fun with nanny and all was well, we were talking about should we chance the traffic on the bank hol mon or as dh had tue off leave tue morning instead???? I said I can't bear the thought of being so pg and stuck in traffic so lets do it tue, so stayed with MIL one extra night.
4am Tue morning woke with pain in side and it was coming and going I thought no surley not??!!! The pain was every 20 mins so I thought I was twingeing again and it would wear off. By 6am it was still there but only every 20 mins, dh said I think we should pop along to the hospital just to get cheked out as he didn't fancy anything going on in the car on the way home.
Got to hospital at 7am and was looked at and was 3cm, 7.20 this pain came out of no where and was there every 2 mins, Madisons heart rate started going all over the show at around 7.50am, 8.10 there were one big pain and the doc said he thought I should have a c section as baby was showing signs if distress so I was taken off and she was born at 8.56am 6lb 14oz very healthy, all very fast.
She came out a sleep and didn't even cry just sort of grunted at the midwife then went back to sleep. She looks nothing like Joe he was bald and she is dark, she seems to be a lot more laid back than Joe from what I can recall. I am ok tired and a bit sore but doing ok. Still can't get over that she is here and I am a mother of 2!
